The Nets have officially been sold to Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov. Now I usually don’t associate the name Mikhail with good things mainly because he’s the creepy guy from Lost who couldn’t die. But I think this Mikhail will be better for the Nets. New owner, new coach (whoever that will be), new arena (Newark until Brooklyn) and new players. There better be new players. I’m thinking the Nets can go from horrendous to just plain bad next year. Maybe the draft will do us well and we can find Jason Kidd 2.0, the best thing to ever happen to the Nets franchise. At the very least, there will be plenty of new stuff going on. Maybe new will be better. Maybe.
