Fresh Look

8 Jun

Hey guys,

The old look was getting a little old, even though it was called “freshy.” I have a new more interesting look now. Unfortunately the basketballs are missing, but it’s really the posts that matter. I’m not big into change, and I have to admit I accidently changed the look, but I think it’s pretty cool. Enjoy and comment!

Pretty pathetic when you’re cheering for one run that cut the lead to six

The Mets have been quite interesting lately. They are missing Jose Reyes and Carlos Delgado, two players that basically keep their offense running. Carlos Beltran and David Wright can only do so much. J.J. Putz is gone for a while, not that he had been doing too hot as of late because of injuries. The Mets’ medical staff has been getting complaints, but I think the Mets know what they are doing. The team will simply have to let the injuries ride out. Come August, you’ll see the Mets with an offense consisting of Reyes, Wright, Beltran and Delgado. You’ll see a bullpen of Johan Santana, K-Rod, and maybe a healthy Putz and Billy Wagner. That is a tough team to beat. But for now, the Mets will get the occasional 7-1 whooping on behalf of the Nationals. At Saturday night’s game, the Mets scored a run in the eighth inning to make the game 7-1. All of the Mets fans in the park, myself included  (I think there were more Mets fans than Nats fans regardless of what people say) stood up and started chanting “Let’s Go Mets! Let’s Go Mets!” Then leave it to a Nats fan to yell back, “You guys got one run! Yay!” That’s okay though because we got 7 yesterday in a 7-0 win. All hail the Mets, who, for much of the summer, are all many of us fans have.
